Si Bing est quasiment anonyme, la fonction Autosuggest l'est sans doute plus, il s'agit pourtant d'une fonction de recherche très utile qui permet à l'utilisateur d'avoir des suggestions de recherches qui s'affinent à chaque tape sur le clavier.

Cette très utile fonction s'est affinée hier alors que dans un communiqué [en] publié sur un blog officiel relatif à Bing nous apprenions que désormais seraient inclus dans les suggestions automatiquement proposées des requêtes plus en rapport avec des faits d'actualité ou des recherches dites "hot trends" c'est à dire qui ne font pas forcément l'actualité mais dont le volume de recherche connait un pi auprès des internautes.

Ainsi par exemple s'agissant des Golden Globe.

Nous apprenons même que Bing mettrait à jour toutes les 15 minutes la base de données nécessaire au parfait fonctionnement de l'Autosuggest.

Il n'en reste pas moins qu'il s'agirait enfin d'étendre les possibilités laissées aux utilisateurs situés dans les Etats-Unis d'Amérique à tous les utilisateurs du monde entier sous peine de voir cette fonction Autosuggest, voire même Bing, anonyme pour longtemps.
Le succès de Google à l'échelle de la planète résidant entre autres dans le fait qu'il propose à tous les internautes un service sensiblement similaire où qu'ils se trouvent.
